In March, as nature awakens and all things come to life, GIEC officially unveiled a new species of wireless speaker - the GIEC Q25 Hi-Fi Audio - bringing music lovers a lossless listening experience of uncompromising quality.

Built on the core philosophy of "restoring true sound and defining quality listening," the Q25 Hi-Fi Audio breaks through the limitations of traditional wireless audio transmission to achieve lossless reproduction at master-tape quality. Pre-orders launched simultaneously on March 18th via the GIEC official website and platforms including Tmall, JD.com, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu.
Since 1999: From the Disc Player Era to Acoustic Pioneer
GIEC was born in Shenzhen in 1999, at the height of the golden age of optical disc players. With exceptional technology and consistent quality, GIEC quickly established a firm footing in the domestic market, and in 2003 invited Mr. Andy Lau to serve as the brand ambassador - further cementing its position as a "nationally beloved audio-visual brand." The high-definition, true-to-life audio-visual experiences GIEC has brought to tens of millions of households have become cherished memories for an entire generation.
With the arrival of the digital wave, GIEC has continually pushed beyond its boundaries, evolving from a single-product company into a full-industry-chain enterprise, and successfully establishing a market presence in more than 30 countries and regions across Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, and beyond. We have always upheld technological innovation, continuously cultivating deep expertise in the audio-visual field. To date, GIEC holds over one hundred acoustic patents spanning audio decoding, soundstage tuning, and hardware design - laying the foundation for the brand's DNA of "technology-driven experience." Over these 25 years, GIEC has consistently upheld one belief: let technology serve genuine sound expression.
A Decade in the Making: The Journey to Breaking Through in Wireless Lossless Technology
GIEC's pursuit of audio quality has never ceased.
As early as 2015, GIEC's acoustic engineers proactively invested in the research and development of wireless audio technology, seeking to achieve high-fidelity lossless audio quality through Wi-Fi transmission. At a time when the industry was broadly focused on portable Bluetooth speakers, GIEC chose a more challenging path - spending two years refining a complete wireless hi-fi solution spanning signal encoding, anti-interference algorithms, and cabinet acoustic architecture, and successfully developing the first generation of Wi-Fi lossless transmission speakers.
"We were convinced back then that the future of wireless audio would inevitably be lossless," recalled the head of GIEC's acoustic laboratory. "But high-quality audio content was the weak link - there were virtually no high-resolution audio sources on the market. Users had a 'supercar-grade' speaker, but were still listening to 'country road-grade' audio quality." This technological breakthrough, which was five years ahead of the industry, ultimately had to pause due to the absence of a high-resolution content ecosystem.
Yet it was precisely this stubborn insistence on "doing what seemed impossible" that planted a seed, ready to ignite: technology must coexist with content to truly transform the experience.
A Technological Awakening: Redefining the Golden Age of Wireless Audio
GfK global research shows that 36% of consumers are willing to pay a premium for high-resolution audio, and the upgrade intention for home audio-visual equipment among China's emerging middle class has grown 217% compared to 2020. At the same time, over 80% of streaming platform users choose wireless playback, yet the bitrate bottleneck of traditional Bluetooth transmission (up to approximately 990kbps) has become a core pain point - severely limiting the reproduction of master-tape-quality audio (192kHz/24bit).
In 2025, GIEC finally found the content ecosystem to coexist with its technology. We decided to restart the project and launch the GIEC Q25 Hi-Fi Audio to meet the demands of the era. The Q25 Hi-Fi Audio transmits audio over Wi-Fi at a bitrate nine times higher than conventional Bluetooth solutions, supports lossless master-tape-quality audio and multi-channel Spatial Audio transmission, and is fully compatible with mainstream high-resolution audio formats - leading a new wave in wireless transmission.
Emerging from the Ground: Awakening the Essence of Listening Through Extraordinary Acoustics
In an era saturated with short-form video and fast-consumption culture, consumers are increasingly yearning to return to deep, meaningful experiences - and the launch of the GIEC Q25 Hi-Fi Audio arrives at exactly the right moment. With the tagline "Premium Sound, More Moving with GIEC," it encourages users to set aside the noise and restlessness of modern life, rediscover inner calm and emotional resonance through high-quality music, and guides them toward a world of truly pure, authentic sound.
On March 18, 2025, the GIEC Q25 Hi-Fi Audio officially launched for pre-order. Let us look forward together to a purer, more moving future of sound.
